About the Founders
Mohamed Bilal and Thowfeeq, the visionary founders of Umma’s Foods, are on a mission to bring the authentic flavors of Kerala to the UAE. With a shared passion for Kerala’s rich culinary heritage and extensive experience in the food industry, they recognized a need for high-quality, homemade traditional products that resonate with the Kerala expat community and beyond.
Mohamed Bilal, the CEO, hails from Sharjah, UAE, and brings six years of experience in the food industry along with a BSc in Food Technology. Growing up in Kerala, Mohamed mastered the art of crafting traditional delicacies, blending expertise with a deep love for authentic flavors.
Thowfeeq, the COO, is based in Dubai, UAE, and contributes five years of food industry experience, also holding a BSc in Food Technology. With a shared vision and commitment, he ensures smooth operations and uncompromising quality in every product.
Together, they are dedicated to preserving Kerala’s culinary traditions and introducing its unique flavors to a wider audience. Through Umma’s Foods, Mohamed and Thowfeeq aim to serve not only the Kerala community in the UAE but also anyone who appreciates the richness of authentic, homemade delights.
